OPTIONAL CREATIONS:
You can use Cocoa Crispies or Cocoa Pebbles instead for rich chocolate treats or you can substitute half of the cereal for larger varieties such as Cocoa Puffs or Reeses Puffs.
About a cup of Chocolate Chips can be added, add half of them to the melted marshmallows and press the other half into the top after it is in the pan> You could also use Peanut Butter Chips or any variety of flavored chips to suit your taste.
Playdough (Stove required - great for rainy days)
1 cup plain (all-purpose) flour
½ cup salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup water with food coloring added
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional but it makes the playdough smell nice!)
Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan, and stir over a low to medium heat until the dough forms into a ball. Allow to cool, and then knead until smooth.
Store in an airtight container (a Ziploc bag with the air pressed out is good).
Mud & Bugs - Edible "Dirt" Treat
Chocolate Ice Cream
or Chocolate pudding
Chocolate Cookie Crumbs
Gummy Worms
or other Gummy Bugs of choice
6 or 8 ounce plastic cups (preferably clear)
Fill plastic cups 3/4 full with either softened Chocolate Ice Cream or Instant Chocolate Pudding. If using pudding, refrigerate as directed before continuing.
Lay 4, 5 or 6 gummy worms in the cup so they hang over the side a bit and then cover them with enough chocolate cookie crumbs to not quite fill the cup. This gives the very cool effect of worms or bugs crawling out of a cup full of dirt but tastes a whole lot better than that.

OPTIONAL CREATIONS:
For added effect you can use small clay pots instead of plastic cups. You can also add plastic flowers standing up in the middle for a tasty gift.
